Photos of Ha Long’s natural and people images from 1885 to 1953. There are some first time published.
On 27 April, Quang Ninh Provincial Culture, Sport and Tourism Department has a celebration to announce Ha Long Bay is international natural landscape. This is Vietnam’s pride because Ha Long amazing and exclusive natural beauty is recognized one more time.
By this occasion, photos collectors – architect Doan Bac (born in 1974, Hanoi) introduces valuable photos of Ha Long in the last 100 years. This is one part of “Ha Long Discovery – 3 Century looking” project. Doan Bac cooperates with some people to work on this project.
The collection named “Memory Treasure” including more than 7000 photos of Vietnam. Doan Bac selected 150 photos of Ha Long’s nature and people images from 1885 to 1953. Most of the photos are took by French photographers. There are many photos are published the first time.
Doan Bac’s collection was exhibited in Hanoi Opera House. The exhibition is one part of official thanks party to all embassy, diplomacy, international groups who contribute to broadcast Vietnam’ image internationally.
